The Spanish Bassist and Composer, Simón García (Mugardos, 1977) is one of the most interpreted and international composers of the current double bass scene. His music has been performed in 36 countries on 4 continents by renowned soloists, ensembles and orchestras. He has won several international awards in addition to receiving several Honorable Mentions and nominations in important composition competitions throughout the world. He is a versatile and eclectic musician and is required to work with many artists in different musical fields, in addition to highlighting his work as a jazz player working on his own and other people’s projects.
